Welcome aboard =D

I've been wanting to do something with Reverse Fandom prompts for a long while, so I thought it might be fun to do a whole community using them, but I thought the Song Title prompts would add some variety, and making it monthly would give people plenty of time to play around with each set of prompts before a new one comes along.

Hope you'll have fun here, and please let me know of any singers/bands whose song titles you'd like to dip onto, and any TV shows with a good mix of episode titles. I'm very open to suggestions. I want to start with a Song Titles challenge but I haven't decided on whose songs yet... Might go with M*A*S*H for the first Reverse Fandom one because there are so many episodes with great titles.

It sounds great. :D And that sounds like a good one to start with; it should give everyone a lot to work with!

I'll go hunt around for musicians and shows, and see what I can recommend. :D The music one should be easy enough, but I think it'll be trickier with TV shows, since the title isn't always on-screen. (Don't be surprised if anything I suggest is out-there, lol; that's basically me in a nutshell, anyway, and it's good to be able to throw people a curveball now and then.)

I'll take any ideas. Wiki is good for episode lists etc. so I'll link to the relevant pages for each challenge post.

I'm not fussy about what genre a singer (or a TV show for that matter) is. The idea is to provide lots of variety.

Among other singers, I plan to use Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Elton John, Jimmy Buffet, Clint Black...

I've just been raiding Wikipedia. I think I've got some ideas that you might be able to use:

Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction; each episode has five titles, so that might be a good variety.

Amazing Stories--The titles look like they're just sitting there asking to be made into prompts.

The Twilight Zone

I kinda considered Friends, but the episodes all start with 'The One Where' or 'The One With', or variations on that, so I didn't think those would be very inspiring.

Oh, that's a good list, there! I was thinking of suggesting the Beatles. ^.^

I particularly like the idea of The Twilight Zone, I've always loved that. Outer Limits might work too. I'll browse the other two and see what I think, thanks for the suggestions =)

How about we start with The Beatles songs then? Have that as the first challenge since it's one we both thought of =)
