Summary: Monica beamed as Chandler emerged from the bedroom.
"Ooh, look at Mister Elegant," Monica beamed as Chandler emerged from the bedroom.
He grinned, showing off the lining of his suit coat, and the green satin brocade vest underneath. "I hope this meeting with our possible new client goes well today," he muttered, sitting at the table and fidgeting anxiously. "Every ad agency in town has been after this company, and us being their first choice is probably making everybody else sick. We really need to make a good first impression. Think I'm overdoing it by being too fancy," he asked.
She smoothed his hair affectionately. "I'm sure they'll be too focused on your presentation to really notice. But going the extra mile never hurts. I don't know how much time you have to spare for breakfast, so I made you something quick and easy."
Chandler watched, his enthusiasm waning, as Monica poured out a slightly thick and disturbingly green concoction, and set it before him.
"Uh, thanks," he tentatively stated, eyeing the odd glop. "Is this meant to be a beverage, or did they have a sale on swamp slime at the supermarket?"
"It's a fruit and vegetable smoothie, you goon," Monica responded. "Phoebe gave me the recipe. It's supposed to be highly nutritious, and full of energy. It's like a homemade V8."
He pushed himself away from the table. "Pass," he grumbled, kissing her cheek as he headed for the door. "I'd have to be a fool to try that goopy garbage. It looks like it could do some evil, evil things as it ran through my intestines. And it'd be just my luck to drink it, and then get violently sick in front of the clients, even if it does match my vest. Maybe I'll take doughnuts into the office this morning."
