Summary:
A horror mystery in a series of 23 drabbles. A man with eyes like discs of polished bone doesn't know who he is, how he regenerates from any injury, or why a monster that can ooze through the bars of his cell keeps coming to eat most of him every time it rains. What he does know is that the door has opened, and he all he wants is to get as far away as possible. He'll come to regret that lack of curiosity.

Disclaimer: I do own this story and all of the characters therein. Please forgive the first part being poemlike while the rest is prose; it was initially planned as a standalone.
