This month's challenge is:

Click on the challenge, pick any song title, or more than one, as inspiration, and start writing!

Reminder of Rules

Entries can be any length you like. You can post as many entries to each challenge as you're inspired to write.
If posting direct to the community, please place the body of your entry behind a cut.
Tag with the appropriate Category, Challenge, Fandom, Type, and Ratings tags. If a tag for your fandom doesn't exist, leave a request on the Tag Request post and I'll create the tags you need. You can request as many fandom tags as you want.
You don't need to use the challenge word or phrase in your fic, though you can if you like. Please include the song or episode title you use in your header.
Suggestions for future challenges are welcome on the Questions & Suggestions post.
There is no deadline for entries.

Have fun!

I've been so excited about this new comm since you started advertising it!

Wheeee! Well, I really hope you're going to have fun writing for it! I wanted to advertise a bit ahead of the first challenge, just enough the whet appetites but not so much that people got too frustrated waiting for it to be open for business. Now you get to start creating!

We can post as many times as we want per challenge, right? Beatles has so many songs; it's hard to pick just one.

As many as you like, the more the merrier, and you can combine several titles into one fic if you choose. That's why you get a whole month for each challenge, because who can possibly write just one when there's so much choice?

Dive in and have fun!

I'd been just about to ask the same question as slashluv18, interestingly enough. She's right--there are so many to choose from! :D That's probably partly why I went so overboard with the Bowie titles challenge over at drabble_weekly. ^.^

! was pretty sure you'd have some more ideas for that one ;)

Yes, no limits to how many fills you can write for each challenge, just go where inspiration takes you and have fun.

The whole idea of this community is that people can write as little or as much as they want. If you want to write a bunch of drabbles, that's fine, if you want to write a multi-chapter novel incorporating 50 song titles, go for it, if you want to write a dozen stories in the same or different fandoms, cool. Whatever you want to write is okay with the mods! There are no limits here.

Question about the rules:

Can I write a drabble/short story that is part of a bigger series, like I am writing a story: (e.g.)

"The Move" and it's a drabble series I update, can I include it in this community w/ one of the prompts or does it have to be a stand alone piece? Or something that started for this comm only?

Chapters are fine, drabbles are fine, you might want to include a link to the full story so people can read the whole thing if they want.

The aim is to inspire, and if you're inspired to write a chapter of an ongoing work, or even a multi-chapter work using different prompts (which I might do myself), then that's great. Maybe this community will even help some people finish WiPs that have been languishing through lack of inspiration.

Basically, anything goes.

Good luck with your drabble series! I've done a few of those, they're fun.
