Mike spat out the strange and repulsive solution that he'd been asked to taste. "Oh, Mick, that's terrible," he groaned. "Who the heck ever taught ya how to make a milkshake?!"

"I didn't think it'd be that bad," Micky protested.

"You really thought you could make a salt water taffy milkshake outta salt and water, and it wouldn't taste awful? Micky, you gotta be out of your gosh-darned mind!"

Micky slumped at the table, dejected. "It made perfect sense to me. People love salt water taffy. People love milkshakes. What's so peculiar about a combination like that?"

"There's probably someone out there who had the same idea, and made it work," his bandmate replied. "In your hands, though...oh, brother!"
